I’m really grateful to have been coached by Jeff. He didn’t just guide me through challenges, he helped me see my own potential in a way I hadn’t before. His style is honest, calm, and encouraging. I never felt judged or pressured, just supported.

I was fortunate to have Jeff as my manager during my first co-op term. From day one, it was clear that he wasn’t just focused on doing what was required—he aimed higher and encouraged everyone around him to do the same. His mentorship pushed me to think beyond my assigned responsibilities and truly explore my potential.

Working with Jeff at OPS was a pivotal moment in my journey. Under his guidance, I realized that while I enjoyed software development, I was also drawn to roles where I could engage more directly with people and solve broader business challenges.

A leader and a learner — that’s the best way to describe Jeff. I had the pleasure of working with him during my co-op at the Ontario Public Service. While he wasn’t my direct manager, I had the opportunity to collaborate with him closely during a student case competition he organized.

Working with Jeff was truly inspiring. He never treated me like “just a student” — my ideas were valued, and my input welcomed. He consistently guided us with his expertise while remaining open to new perspectives from everyone. His optimistic and encouraging approach fostered a positive and inclusive environment that made collaboration seamless and empowering.

Everyone genuinely enjoys working with Jeff — he brings a contagious energy to every room. He’s the kind of person you walk away from a conversation with having learned something new, insightful, or uplifting. Jeff not only leads by example but also leaves a lasting impact on those around him.

I had the pleasure of working with Jeff during my time as a Business Finance Co-op Student at the Treasury Board Secretariat. While I did not report to him directly, I had the opportunity to get to know Jeff through a Consulting Case Competition he organized for students my department. This initiative exemplified for me the commitment Jeff has to professional development and his willingness to support and engage with a variety of his team members.

Jeff consistently made time for meaningful conversations and mentorship, and I always walked away from our discussions with a smile. Even after my co-op term ended, Jeff has remained a valued mentor whose guidance I truly appreciate. He has a genuine ability to positively impact those around him, is truly a selfless person, and I feel fortunate to have crossed paths with him, and I wish the same on others.
